As a busy mom it is hard to find the time to take a little me time. Believe me. I know. How often do you have a day where you realize as you are crawling into bed that you didn’t take a single moment to yourself? Most days you probably get followed into the bathroom. I know I do. I, ____________, a newly inducted Mom into Spa Week Daily’s Hot Mom Spa Squad promise to take a break in the midst of my busy day. In between diaper changes, soccer games, homework, and dinner time I will pamper myself and take some time out for me. In doing this, I understand that it is okay to visit the spa for the sporadic pedicure, a facial to make me look and feel hotter, and I will never ever deny myself a great massage. As a proud member of the Hot Mom Spa Squad I solemnly swear to spread the message of pampering and wellness, and to reach out to any potential Mom in need.
I mean what better way to make myself take some time everyday then to sign an oath. So I have promised to take a few minutes to drink a cup of tea, or read a chapter in my book, or to sneak a few bites of chocolate after everyone has gone to bed every day. I’m taking a little time for myself. Although I go astray from time to time I firmly believe you have to love and care for yourself in order to be able to really love and care for those around you.
