I have my Vanilla Cut Out Cookie recipe ready to repost tomorrow:)
I am working on my first batch of cookies. May bombard you with photos and recipes on Saturday, beware.
Oh lady, you are trouble. 😉
Shared your link on Facebook today…posted my Holiday Cut out Recipe on my blog…or it’s supposed to post today, linked to yours….but here it is just in case.
Holiday Cut Out Vanilla Cookies
Vanilla Cut Out Cookies
2 3/4 Cups All purpose flour
2 1/2 Sticks of Butter (or 1 1/4 cups)
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
4 Egg Yolks (reserve whites to baste cookies)
Mix all ingredients together until forms a dough. Roll with flour and cut out with favorite cookie cutters. Baste with egg whites, sprinkle with sugar or sprinkles if desired. Bake 350F until golden brown.
I was going to ask if bars were considered a cookie but you answered the question with your first cookie recipe.
I should clarify in my opinion bars, cookies and candy are all appropriate for this little exchange.
7 Layer Magic Cookie Bar Ingredients (changed gives a Reeses taste Yum)
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips (changed to peanutbutter chips)
1 cup flaked coconut (changed to no coconut)
1 cup chopped nuts
1 (14 oz.) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13inch baking pan.
Pour melted butter into baking pan. Add graham cracker crumbs to pan and pat down evenly. Sprinkle chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, and nuts in layers over graham cracker. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the contents of the pan.
Bake for 30 minutes. Top should be lightly golden.
This recipy is so versatile!
