Kid Friendly Snack: Bugs on a Log

In a departure from the usual Thursday kid-friendly lunch idea I thought I would mix it up a bit with a kid-friendly snack. In my house you can’t go wrong with peanut butter. In a twist on the classic ants on a log snack made from peanut butter spread on celery sticks and topped with raisins Maddy and I came up with bugs on a log, peanut butter spread on large pretzel sticks topped with dried cranberries, raisins and sunflower seeds. Mmmm. Mmm. Mmmm. Fun and delicious things happen when you let your imagination run wild and let kids play in the kitchen.

Bugs on a log. Great after school snack kids can make themselves.
