Can you guess what this is?
It’s blue gray yarn. Maddy found it in our gigantic stash of craft supplies.
It’s tangled.
It’s balled up.
It’s a dog. Complete with it’s own leash.
But you probably saw that when you looked at it. Maddy did. I did not.
Meet Soflo, or patchar or girdy. Its name keeps changing, but it remains Maddy’s pet dog.
I don’t want to break her heart but it is probably the closest Maddy will get to having a pet dog. At least while in my house. Mama has a serious no pets rule. Daddy does too. But I’m worried about him. He’s weak and the ” but, daddy please” force is strong in this blue eyed girl. I’m sure she’ll figure out the real power behind a subtle pout and puppy dog eyes sooner or later and then my no pets rule may face a challenge. Until then she’s welcome to continue caring for her yarn dog on its built in leash.
Oh, and yes she did her own hair. She was very proud of getting those little clips in all by her self.

I love the great imagination it is too bad adults lose that creativeness!
My husband already said, “we’ll have space for a dog at our new house”. I asked him if he was crazy!
Seriously, I love animals, just other people’s not my own.
I know, such an abusive mom!
