Buying a car seat is a little bit stressful. All parents want to get the safest seat they can for their child all while not spending all the money in their bank account. When Madeline was but a wee babe in my belly Luke and I bought one of those fancy travel systems that come with the infant car seat and matching stroller. We made sure to get the one with the best safety ratings. With her first birthday a few months out it became obvious that she was outgrowing her car seat and we were going to have to buy the next size up for her. A nicely rated convertible seat from another brand was purchased.
I was actually a bit shocked that Madeline outgrew her rear facing car seat so quickly. I thought we would get over a years worth of use out of it since we had purchased the larger option available at the time. Madeline loved her “big girl” car seat but it would have been nice to not have had to run out and buy another seat quite so fast. Last weekend I had the opportunity to hang out with my friend Sarah and a bunch of other awesome people who all came out to learn more about a new car seat from Graco. The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 is quite the car seat. It’s the only rear-facing infant car seat made for babies from birth to 2 years old.
Sarah and I had the opportunity to show off the SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 at the Westminster, Colorado Babies R Us. We shared information about Graco’s new seat, played fun trivia, and even had the opportunity to give two car seats away. I wish the SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 had been available when we were car seat chopping for Delaney. I definitely would have checked it out. I love the possibility of having an adjustable rear-facing car seat that would last until she is two. Also I love the little feet on the kick plate. How cute is that?

The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.
