Why is it that Monkey always seems to have the worst spills while under my watch. Like the time she pushed her one of her toys down the stairs, went right down with it and landed on top of it. Or the time she tossed a toy out of the tub onto the bathroom floor then proceeded to dive over the edge to get it, landing right on her face and splitting her lip. Or the time just a few days later that she stood up in the tub after she was told not to and slipped and smacked her head on the edge of the tub. Or there is today’s accident that took place on our bed. She loves to play on Mommy and Daddy’s bed she likes to fling herself back onto the pillows. I was lying next to her playing with her when she sat up turned a bit so that her back was to the edge of the bed and flung herself backwards resulting in back flip off the bed right onto her face. This might have been a little funny had she not been in such obvious pain and crying such huge tears. It would be one of those videos on America’s Funniest Home Video’s that everyone would laugh at.
I am beginning to get a complex. I swear I watch her. If she keeps this up her poor face is going to be pretty lumpy lookin‘ from all the falls she’s taking. Poor girl, I just hope she doesn’t knock out a tooth she only has four.
