I allow my girls to eat only fresh fruits and veges as a pre-dinner snack. Typically I have on hand broccoli, grapes, apple, banana, red pepper, and carrot sticks as my go to snack. I figure if they are filling up before dinner, at least it’s on what they really need!
The boys eat a snack right when they wake up from their naps and I try to keep it light: fruit and a few crackers or a cheese stick.
