A while back I was lucky enough to share one of our best loved kid-friendly lunches at Multiples and More. Sure I don’t have multiples but I do have experience feeding multiple children of the same age and that counts right? Because we love the lunch we shared over there so much I wanted to share it here too. To get the full story you can head over to Multiples and More.
As I have mentioned here before, In most cases, when I let Maddy take the reigns and build her meal she ends of trying new things and eating up her food with enthusiasm to spare. That coupled with my love of oatmeal combined to create Make Your Own Oatmeal, and let me tell you it is always a big hit.
What’s on the Plate: Make Your Own Oatmeal
- Oatmeal
- Strawberries, raisins, sliced almonds, apple sauce, cinnamon, and coconut

Why, it’s like an Oatmeal Salad Bar! This could be a whole new restaurant concept. Don’t laugh — there’s a restaurant (or was — I don’t know if they’re still in business) in NYC that serves nothing but rice pudding (it’s called Rice to Riches)
Great idea Catherine on “Kid-Friendly Lunch: Make Your Own Oatmeal”! I love to try it too with my kiddos. And please tell Maddy that she has a great combination! Her oatmeal looks very delicious and healthy. 🙂
