Today is a special day in the the Evolving Motherhood household. Today my baby turns 7. SEVEN! This weekend she had her first birthday party outside of our home. The first party without homemade decorations and running around our backyard. She also got her ears pierced. When did she mature enough to care about accessories? I’m in denial a little bit. and so I would like to tell you about what else it special about today. Today is National Guacamole Day! Honestly, I might feel more like celebrating National Guacamole Day because guacamole isn’t growing up much to quickly right in front of my eyes. Guacamole isn’t inching towards wearing two piece bathing suits or getting a driver’s license with each passing second. No, guacamole is a delicious companion to all our chips, taco, burritos, burgers, salads and veggie trays. It’s a constant. It never grows up and goes to college or begs to put holes in it’s ears to hold sparkly sapphire colored baubles.
