Tuna melts are so lovely. They are a great way to feed your kids whole grains and protein as well as maybe a bit of tomato and onion. After all who doesn’t like a little melted cheese in their life?
What’s on the plate: English Muffin Tuna Melts
- Half a toasted whole wheat English muffin with tuna, thinly sliced red onion and tomato topped with cheddar cheese
- Carrot sticks and broccoli
- Balsamic vinegar for dipping veggies (if balsamic is too much for your kiddo you can add a touch of honey to balance the vinegar flavor, Maddy loves plain balsamic though.)

We make waffle sandwiches for our kids with anything we can think of – eggs, peanut butter, cheese. They love it
