How to Make Letter B Butterflies
Step 1. Trace the letter B back to back for the butterfly’s wings. If you do not have a B to trace you can draw them freehand. We had enough room to fit two sets of butterfly wings on our paper.
Step 2. Using water color paints paint the butterfly wings.
Step 3. Draw a line of glue between the wings of each butterfly (where the backs of the Bs meet). Place pom poms along the line of glue to make the body of the butterfly.
Step 4. Form the pipe cleaner into a V to make antenna and glue one to the top of each butterfly body. Depending on the size of your Bs and butterflies you may need to cut the pipe cleaners down to an appropriate size.
